Meggan “GG” Pender is a young bright star who is passionate about changing the world for the next generation. In her pursuit of music, she began to recognize how much she loves helping others and decided to combine it with her Love for God. Meggan also known as GG Pender is a native of the lower 9th ward community in New Orleans, LA where she began singing and songwriting from the age of 11.
R&B and Gospel has been at the forefront of her music career. She is also a proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
GG is the creator of the brand, “2ThineOwnSelfBeTrue.” She has now become a passionate speaker & entrepreneur seeking to help others discover their God-given identity & purpose in a world where there is so much pressure to settle and become like “all the others.” No matter what she does, her attention
to details and her relatability to others has always made her stand out from the rest.
“2ThineOwnSelfBeTrue” is a faith-based brand geared toward helping all people from all backgrounds of life become the best version of themselves and mature their relationship with God. Though this star shines bright, it doesn’t go without saying life has taught her a lot of lessons and exposed her to some ugly truths, even about herself. She believes everything she has experienced, helped her to become a bridge for the next generation. Some of the areas she would like to affect change is in Mental Health Awareness, Homelessness, Building Effective Relationships, The Entertainment Industry and now Ministry as it relates to her faith. With all of these God-given talents and gifts at her disposal along with her belief in Jesus Christ, she believes All Things Are Possible!
